FP Mailing Solutions Awarded Multi Million Dollar Federal Government Contract For Digital Postage Meters

Real Time Accounting Management & Metering Systems Will Streamline U.S. Postal Service Retail Operations

ADDISON, IL – April 6, 2004 - Francotyp-Postalia (FP Mailing Solutions), a world-class mailroom solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded a multi million dollar contract from the U.S. Postal Service’s Retail Products & Services Contracting Office. The contract is for FP’s leading digital postage meter offering, the ultimail system. FP’s ultimail digital meter will also feature a real time accounting management and metering system (RAMM) designed by Triner Scales and Manufacturing of Memphis, Tennessee.

“FP’s ultimail system and RAMM will facilitate electronic data transfer and streamline business operations for the Postal Service’s retail and performance-based contract postal units (CPUs),” said Larry Turner, Chief Executive Officer of FP Mailing Solutions. “In keeping with the Federal Government’s community-focused purchasing initiatives and customer service, FP’s subcontracting relationship with Triner Scales will fulfill more than 80 percent of the contract through a small and woman owned business.”

“For the postal customer, the RAMM accounting system provides a new level of clarity, simplicity and speed of transaction,” said Cecelia Wendt, Chief Executive Officer of Triner Scales. “For the Postal Service and the facility operators, the RAMM system provides a comprehensive suite of electronic services, such as; itemized daily accounting and automated daily reporting, inventory management services, automated rate changes and automated software upgrades, as well as other services.“

Under USPS contract #2BRPSR-04-Q-2538 awarded to FP Mailing Solutions, FP’s ultimail system and RAMM will offer postal patrons the ability to have their letters and packages weighed, rated and proper postage affixed by a store clerk when visiting any U.S. Postal Service CPU.

Association of Independent Mailing Equipment Dealers Awards FP Mailing Solutions’ Dedication To Mailing and Shipping Industry Dealers

ADDISON, IL –- June 24, 2003 - Francotyp-Postalia, Inc. (FP Mailing Solutions), a world-class mailroom solutions provider, announced its recognition as the Manufacturer of The Year by the Association of Independent Mailing Equipment Dealers (AIMED), a strong and growing network of mailing, shipping and office automation specialists. FP Mailing Solutions won the award in 1999 and 2002.

At this year’s annual conference held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, AIMED President Henry Sanders again presented FP Mailing Solutions the Carol Boggs Associate Member of the Year Award recognizing FP as the Manufacturer of The Year. The award commends FP Mailing Solutions for being an industry leader and for its continued support of the AIMED organization.

In 2002, FP Mailing Solutions supplied AIMED with financial support to conduct a Mailing Equipment Quota Index (MEQI) study.
